Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 29: A Record-Breaking Success

The horror-comedy Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, has emerged as the biggest Hindi hit of the year. Nearly a month into its theatrical run, the film continues to perform impressively at the box office. On its 29th day, Stree 2 made Rs 2.75 crore, taking its total domestic net revenue to Rs 539.35 crore. Globally, the film has grossed Rs 762.5 crore, showcasing its widespread popularity.

In regions like Delhi-NCR and Mumbai, the film maintained moderate occupancy rates, with 10.75 percent and 13.25 percent respectively. Stree 2 is now on the verge of surpassing the lifetime collections of Animal, Ranbir Kapoor’s career-defining hit, which grossed Rs 553.87 crore in India. With just Rs 14 crore left to cross that mark, Stree 2 is poised for further success.

Moreover, Stree 2 is inching closer to challenging the Hindi collections of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, which made Rs 582.31 crore in Hindi and Rs 640.25 crore overall across multiple languages. Though Jawan grossed Rs 1160 crore worldwide, Stree 2 is set to narrow the gap as it continues its strong box office run.

With no major Hindi releases scheduled for this weekend, Stree 2 is expected to enjoy an uninterrupted reign at the box office, further solidifying its status as one of the most successful films of the year.
