ICC new chairmen: Jay Shah elected unopposed

Jay Shah, the BCCI chairman has been elected unopposed as the next independent ICC chairman, the world cricket governing body declared on Tuesday.

At 35, Shah is the youngest and the 5th Indian to head the ICC new chairman after N. Srinivasan, Jagmohan Dalmiya, Sharad Pawar and Shashank Manohar.

He will be next to New Zealand’s Greg Barclay, who earlier told in an board meeting that he would step down and won't stand for the third term.
