The Punjabi film Bibi Rajni has emerged as a hit, thanks to its strong box office trend. It is the fourth Punjabi film to achieve this status in 2024, following Jatt Nu Chudail Takri, Shinda Shinda No Papa, and Jatt & Juliet 3. Given its current trajectory, Bibi Rajni has the potential to reach blockbuster status, though the coming weeks will determine its final performance.

The film had a modest start with Rs. 27 lakh nett on its first day in East Punjab. However, it saw significant growth over the weekend, nearly doubling to Rs. 51 lakh on Saturday, and surpassing the Rs. 1 crore mark on Sunday. Monday’s collections were even stronger, with Rs. 62 lakh, and continued to rise on Tuesday, with sales expected to exceed Rs. 75 lakh.

In its first five days, Bibi Rajni has grossed Rs. 3.20 crore nett (Rs. 3.75 crore gross) in East Punjab, and an additional Rs. 40 lakh nett (Rs. 50 lakh gross) from the rest of India. The total first-week projection stands at Rs. 5.25 crore nett (Rs. 6.25 crore gross) across India.

Internationally, the movie is performing good. Tuesday’s collections overseas surpassed Saturday’s, bringing the five-day international total to USD 650K (Rs. 5.50 crore), pushing the worldwide gross to nearly Rs. 10 crore.
